Our Story
Who are we?
Overboard was founded in 2016 with the mission of protecting freshwater resources from around the Great Lakes for future generations. By donating 21% of all sales profits to non-profit organizations fighting to conserve our lakes, rivers and streams, we're doing our part to keep our water fresh and clean for all.
In addition to our charitable mission, Overboard is also heavily focused on community. By growing a unified community of water-lovers, we're able to celebrate and conserve our freshwater resources together.
Why donate 21%?
21% of all fresh water on Earth's surface is right here in the Great Lakes basin. Crazy, right? To honor the responsibility of protecting it, we donate 21% of sales profits from our items sold on our website.
